Nearly everyday I would wear the New Zealand jersey or the Manu Samoa t-shirt to show how proud I am as a supporter for the Rugby World Cup 2011 (RWC2011).
It’s interesting how I meet so many people in Europe and the most common question they ask is:
WHY ARE YOU HERE WHILE THE RUGBY WORLD CUP IS ON IN YOUR COUNTRY?
At first I didn’t know what to say.
I had to think fast, so I decided to tell them:
SOMETIMES SOMETHING YOU LOVE YOU MUST SACRIFICE.
and then I added
I DON’T MIND WAKING UP EARLY IN THE MORNING TO WATCH THE GAME. IT SHOWS HOW MUCH PASSION I HAVE FOR THE RUGBY WORLD CUP!!
My main reason I left the country was to see what’s out there in Europe, experiencing the architecture and the culture. I knew the Rugby World Cup would clash with my trip. But if you had to choose between the great adventures of travelling Europe or the Rugby World Cup in your home country, it’s a tough call.
So which one would you choose?
